MODULE 2 - CHILDREN DURING WWII (FINLAND/SWEDEN)
WORLD WAR II HISTORY AND VIDEO
Background:Children during World War II is an Oral History Project which intends to try to cover some of the experiences of children during WWII in Finland and Sweden. The basic idea is to interview people that were children when the war broke out in 1939 (between 1-18 years of age in 1939). We need to be able to get their experiences recorded before it's to late...
These interviews can be part of your history class. It will train your students skills in oral history, how to present oral history and in the end make them better understand a different generation.
Module Objectives: By the end of the module delegates will be able to edit and download a digital video clip to their website. The delegates will also be familiar with a range of strategies on how to interview a different generation.
