Children during World War II is a micro site of E-HELP (European History E-Learning Project).
Children during World War II is an Oral History project which intends to try to cover some of the experiences of children during WWII. The basic idea is to interview people that were children when the war broke out in 1939 (between 1-18 years of age in 1939).
Hopefully you can get some inspiration and ideas from our project and maybe it will be possible for you to make some of your own interviews and thereby participate in this project (maybe you work as a teacher and you find it possible to participate in this project with your students).
Children during World War II is also an attempt to show how you can build up an oral history project and then publish the results on a website. That's why it will be developed slowly step by step. Hopefully it can help you when you want to start an oral history project of your own and publish your material on the web...
